- Agents First on every page: target 90-100 on the AF scorer; ship /AGENTS.md, /llms.txt and machine endpoints.
- Design bar: distinctive, intentional design, never the generic dark AI template. A designed font system at minimum.
- Core Web Vitals: fast first paint, no layout shift, images sized; verify with a real browser from a Windows box.
- Accessibility: landmarks, alt text, focus states, contrast.
- Portable: root-relative links so pages move between hosts unchanged.
- Public copy: institutional bylines only.
- Content is the lever: indexable, useful, question-shaped content is what ranks; crawlability alone does not.
